Ways in which you can get involved

1. Fund raising

It costs Mary's Meals just over £5.00 to feed a child in Mitsidi Primary school for a year. You can donate money for this through the Parish in the following ways:

On the first weekend of each month, there will be a member of the Project team present in the Theresa Hall after all Masses to collect donations. Cash donations can be enclosed in the envelopes provided.

If you prefer, you can obtain a direct debit form from a Project team member. These forms are coded so that Mary's Meals can identify their origin ( ie that they come from St Joseph's.) If you are a tax payer, you can also authorise Mary's Meals to claim back the tax on your donation

2. Volunteer work

Help is often needed by the Mary's Meals organisation to run its activities locally. Parishioners can help with packaging mailing information, collecting/ transporting goods to the Mary's Meals warehouse for sorting and delivery to their outlet shops etc.

If you are willing to help with such activities when they arise, please contact David Bain  ( Tel 956 4914 or e-mail dcbain2@hotmail.com) and leave your name and contact number. Requests for particular tasks will also be made through the Bulletin and News and Updates section of the website.

3. Links with Mitsidi

As our links with Mitsidi grow, there may be further opportunities for involvement. These will be publicised through the Bulletin and the News and Updates section of the website as the project develops.
