YOUR DONATIONS
Total donations received from St Joseph’s in connection with our Mitsidi project now amount to £7037.02. This is a magnificent total and gives us even more confidence that we will be able to achieve our secondary target of £8000 by February 2008 to cover the feeding station as well. Over £600 of this total has been collected through gift aid - which allows Mary’s Meals to claim back the tax on your donations. This shows the importance of filling in the gift aid form to accompany your donations. Thank you for your continuing support.

FIRST LINKS WITH MITSIDI PRIMARY SCHOOL
We informed you last month that one of our own parishioners would be working in Blantyre during October and had agreed to visit Mitsidi Primary school on our behalf. We are delighted to report that this contact has now taken place. Dr Jo Thorp was able to visit Mitsidi Primary school a week or so ago and has sent us a preliminary report illustrated with photographs. It provides a picture of the people and community you are helping through your donations. The report and photographs below are also displayed in both the Theresa Hall and St Joseph’s hall.
