We have recently received final totals of donations received by Mary’s
Meals from St Joseph’s in connection with our Parish Project.
Between February 2007 and the end of January 2008, you have donated the staggering sum of £13,670.
This sum includes one-off donations, direct debits and gift aid reclaimed.
As well as covering the annual cost of feeding the pupils in Mitsidi
for a year - and as well as funding the setting up of the feeding
station itself - you have enabled Mary’s Meals to provide a year’s
daily meals for almost another 1000 pupils elsewhere.
In addition to last year’s total, you have now donated a further £5000
this year- so our primary target of feeding the 930 pupils in Mitsidi
for the next year has already been reached so you can be sure that your
generosity is indeed MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
All parishioners are invited to a meeting on Monday, April 21st at 7.30
pm in St Joseph’s, where we will be asking you how you would like
to see our project develop.
