Groups
and individuals are involved in ensuring good communication flow within
the parish (newsletter, bulletin, messengers, notice boards etc.)
Several groups help with various aspects of communication within the parish,
acting as minute secretaries, typing, photocopying and delivering the
parish bulletin and newsletter, managing noticeboards, and liaising with
local press.
The Parish Bulletin
is issued weekly at Mass. The Bulletin, along with other parish
documents, is printed within the parish by a small group of volunteers
on a Saturday morning. If this is something you can help with, please let us know by phoning 956 1400 (or e-mailing ) and leaving a message for MARGARET.
The Parish newsletter is delivered to homes 5
times per year. This provides an update on many parish activities and
events, current initiatives, baptisms, marriages and other
special occasions. If you have items of information which you think
should be included, please let us know by phoning 956 1400 (or
e-mailing ) and leaving a message for MARGARET.
If you do not get a copy delivered, please let us know
Messengers
Each messenger takes responsibility for delivering the newsletter and
other parish communications to a small number of homes in their
area. If you would like to become a messenger or if you do
not receive the newsletter and wish to know who your messenger is,
please phone 956 1400 (or e-mail ) and leave a message for BERNADETTE
The current list of Messengers is being updated
at present.
Notice Boards
There are several Notice Boards in the Church porch and elsewhere in St Joseph’s.
These contain parish business documents (minutes etc.) and other
notices of interest to parishioners. Information is changed every
Saturday. The inside of the back wall of the Church is also used to
draw attention to Parish activities (eg First Holy Communions).
The Parish Website is updated regularly. Please e-mail
comments and suggestions to
or directly to webmaster.
