 Parishioners can help with parish finances and physical environment through
the following groups:
Finance
Major parochial financial decisions undergo consultation after Sunday
Mass while more minor decisions are dealt with by the Parish Pastoral
Council.
A number of parishioners count the collection, bank the collection and
keep the parish records up-to-date, including the Gift Aid Scheme.
The Gift Aid Scheme is an important source of revenue for the Parish. If you are not enrolled in the scheme, please consider doing this today as it allows St. Joseph’s to reclaim 28p from the HM Revenue & Customs for every £1 you contribute.
To do so, you can either download a copy of the Gift Aid Declaration and hand it in to the Sacristy, or if you prefer, simply advise Fr. McGrorry of your name and National Insurance Number. The Gift Aid scheme is fully outlined in the Gift Aid Explained leaflet which can also be obtained via our Downloads Section.
If you are not currently making regular contributions to St. Joseph’s and wish to do so, you will find Standing Order forms in our Downloads Section . There are forms for the No.1 Account (your contributions directly help with the general running of the Parish) and for our No. 2 Account (your contributions directly help to fund the Church Project). There is also a separate Standing Order form for you to contribute to Mitsidi Primary School in Malawi which is our Anniversary Project.

Major Parish Projects are put out to tender while some parishioners do smaller jobs requiring only payment for materials. If you would like to help with this, please phone 956 1400 and leave a message for JOE or e-mail
