Forty Hours Adoration
There will be Holy Hour with Benediction on Sunday at 6.30pm and Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm. If you would like to leave a candle to represent your family for the Forty Hours, please leave it in the Sacristy.

This will take place on Monday 7th September at 7.30pm in the main hall. Please enter by main hall door.
Sacraments
There will be a very important meeting for the parents of all children who would like to receive the Sacraments of Confession, Confirmation or First Holy Communion in September. The meeting will take place on Thursday 10th September at 7.30pm in the Theresa Hall. All children must be represented at this meeting.

National Pilgrimage to Carfin
This will take place on Sunday 6th September in honour of Saint John Ogilvie. Concelebrated Mass at 3.00pm with His Eminence Cardinal Keith O'Brien. If you would like to attend this event please contact John Munn on 563 7479 or put your name on the sheet in the front porch of the Church.
Milngavie Churches
Friendship House was opened by Rev John Paterson, St Paul's Church on 23rd June 1984 and has for the past 25 years served the community in Milngavie. To mark this special occasion Milngavie Churches Friendship House Association has arranged a 25th Anniversary Celebration on Friday 18th September in Allander Evangelical Church starting at 7.00pm. A warm welcome to everyone who has served as a volunteer in friendship House during the past 25 years. Glasgow Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
This eight day pilgrimage from 1st - 9th November 2009, will be led by Rt Rev Mgr Peter Canon Smith JCL. The cost of the trip is £775 and deposits of £150.00 are now required to be paid. Further information can be found on the noticeboard at the side door of the Church.
Apostleship of the Sea: Sea Sunday - September 2009
Although it is some weeks away, please note that Sea Sunday, when you are asked to encourage prayer, volunteer action and financial contributions to the work of The Apostleship of the Sea, will this year be on Sunday 20th September. The last Thursday of September is the Feast of Our Lady, Star of the Sea - familiar worldwide to seafarers as Stella Maris, which is also their shorthand for The Apostleship of the Sea.
Youth Pastoral Team
The Archdiocesan Youth Pastoral Team is based in Our Lady of Consolation Church in Govanhill, but works all around the diocese providing support to parish youth groups and retreats for secondary schools, as well as a variety of national and international youth programmes. ....is currently in partnership with the Catholic Church, to provide FOCCUS as part of a Marriage Preparation Package for couples preparing for marriage.
