Bulletin October 4th 2009

27th Sunday of Year B

This Sunday

Today at the 10am Mass we welcome the boys and girls from primary four and their families who renew their commitment as they prepare to make their Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

Altar Servers

There will be a meeting for all existing altar servers and any child from primary five upwards who would like to become an altar server. For those who would like to serve at the Vigil Mass the meeting will be on Saturday 3rd October at 6.30pm. Those wishing to serve at 10am Mass, the meeting will be at 9.30am on Sunday 4th October, and for those serving at 11.30am Mass the meeting will be at 12.15pm. It is very important all servers attend as the new tunics will be arranged.

Mitsidi Sunday

The Mitsidi table will be available as usual after Mass in the Theresa Hall for those who wish to donate to our Anniversary Project. A considerable amount has been donated so far and we thank you for your continuing generosity. As you know, Feliz Likwangulo, the Head Teacher, has moved to another school and this has led to a hiatus in our communication with Mitsidi while the new Head Teacher, Vivex, is settling into his new post. You will remember that it took us some time to establish good lines of communication with the school through Felix and it will also take us some time to re-establish these with the new Head Teacher. We will resume the Mitsidi insert in the near future when we have set up our new communication channels.

Senior Citizen's Group
