This weekend the Diocese asks for numbers of those attending Mass. With the closure and amalgamation of Parishes it is very important if all who feel they belong to the Parish are at Mass here this weekend.
Sacrament of Confirmation
On Thursday of this week (12th November) at 7.30pm twenty children from the Parish will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please remember them and their families in your prayers. I hope that many parishioners will be able to come and join in the celebration.
The Month of November
During this month we pray in a special way for all our friends and relatives who have died that they will be with God.
Only during this month are all of the Masses offered for all of the names on the November lists. If you would like your relatives or friends remembered during the Masses, please put the lists and stipend in the envelopes found at the back of the Church.
Traidcraft Stall - Today
The Traidcraft Stall will be available after all Masses this weekend. We will also be selling CHRISTMAS CARDS.
Meditation Group - Today
A small meditation group will be starting next Sunday - 8th November. Anyone interested should meet in the Conti Room for 7.30pm.
60+ Club
This new Parish Club will meet for the first time on Monday 9th November from 2pm - 3.30pm in the main hall. This will be an opportunity to meet some old friends (i.e., those you have known a long time) and some new ones. Tea and coffee will be provided and there is a suggested donation of £2. Men and women from the Parish and their friends are all very welcome.
Fabric and Finance Group
This Group will meet on Monday 9th November at 7.30pm in the Conti Room. Please enter by main hall door.
Crafts For Mitsidi
Do you enjoy craft work? Would you like to meet others who share this interest? If so please come along to the Church hall on 11th November from 7-9pm. The idea is to sell our craftwork at the Parish Art and Craft Sale on 12th / 13th December to raise funds for Mitsidi School. Please bring your own materials. Mass for the Dead
On Tuesday 17th November at 7.30pm we will have a special Mass for all of our dead relatives and friends and especially parishioners who died during the year.
St Joseph's Bumper Christmas Raffle
Donations would be gratefully received for our Bumper Christmas Raffle, particularly bottles, cans, biscuits, etc, to make up hampers. Donations can be left in the Sacristy or contact Cathy on 956 4487. Draw will take place early December. Many thanks.
Sunday Plus
This leaflet which is a reflection on the Sunday readings is as usual available at the Church door. Please ask for a copy if you would like one.
Certificates
In the Sacristy there are various certificates for all of the sacraments which have occurred throughout the year. If you think you should have a certificate, please come in and have a look.
