Fourth Sunday of Year C

St Margaret's Children and Family Care Society

....are very grateful for the very kind donation of £253 from our Crib collection. Last year St Margaret's placed 21 children with new parents. This figure represents 10% of all children placed for adoption in Scotland.

Altar Servers Meetings

Next weekend there will be a meeting / rehearsal for all altar servers for those who serve or would like to serve at the Masses. The meetings for the Vigil and 11.30am Sunday Mass will be after both Masses. For the 10am Mass, the meeting will be at 9.30am.

Exposition of Blessed Sacrament

The new list of dates for this year can be found on the noticeboard at the side door of the Church.

Did You Know...

.....during 2009 here at St Josephs, we had 20 baptisms, two adults who joined the Church, 19 First Holy Communions, 22 Confirmations, 25 deaths ( I didn't forget about Marriages, its just that we didn't have any!).

St Joe's Prize Draw - Lottery Membership

First draw of 2010 will take place this Sunday after 11.30am Mass.. Ensure you are in the draw! We still require new members and, all subscriptions can be paid in the Theresa Hall after each Mass, this weekend. Please support our new Church lottery: - over 40 cash prizes to be won in 2010. All funds raised will support the Church Refurbishment Project.

St Joseph's 60+ Club

The 60+ Club will meet tomorrow at 2.00pm in the Theresa Hall. Please enter by side door. All welcome.

Meditation Group

This will meet this Sunday in the Conti Room from 7.30pm - 8.30pm.

White Cockade

The White Cockade - the story of the Jacobites in words and music - has now been rearranged for Friday 19th March, 7.30pm for 8.00pm. This is a tremendous night of entertainment. Come along and join in the music. Tickets £5 from Theresa in the Sacristy.

Aquinas Lecure

"What Salvation do we await?" by Professor Werner G Jeanrond, Professor of Divinity, on Monday 1st February at University of Strathclyde Chaplaincy Centre. Notice at the back of the Church with further details.

Cardinal Winning Lecture - Education Week

This will take place on Saturday 6th February at the University of Glasgow's St Andrew's Building, Room 213 from 10am - 1pm. Further information from Department of Religious Education on 0141 330 3434 or see the noticeboard at the back of the Church.

Fertility Care Scotland

There will be an In-Service Day in the Eyre Hall, 196 Clyde Street on Saturday 27th February with speaker Dr Lek-Lim Chan, who is the National President and Education and Scientific Co-Ordinator of the Natural Fertility Awareness Service of Malaysia.
