Sixth Sunday of Year C

Parish Newsletter

The newsletter is ready for collection by the messengers from the Theresa Hall.

Renewal of Marriage Vows

As we celebrate St Valentines Day this weekend, there will be an opportunity for couples to renew their marriage vows at each of the Masses.

Ash Wednesday

Just a wee reminder that Ash Wednesday falls on 17th February this year.

Traidcraft Stall

The Traidcraft Stall is available in the Theresa Hall after all Masses this weekend with the new Spring catalogue available.

Parish Groups

Representatives of the Parish Groups (SVDP, Legion of Mary, Justice and Peace, Youth Club, 60+ Club, Soup Run, Dignity of Life) will meet in the Theresa Hall on Thursday 18th February at 7.30pm. Please enter by side door.

Parish Jumble Sale - 13th March

Why not start clearing out those old books, cds, videos, toys etc and let Cathy Young (956 4487) or Margaret Harkness (956 4715) know if you need anything collected.

Sunday Café

We are very lucky that we have enough men and women who are willing to give up their time once a month to prepare teas and coffees in the hall. However, we are still a few members short. Please let Father McGrorry know if you can help.

On a related matter, those who prepare food in the hall should have a basic Food Hygiene Certificate. While some of our parishioners do have this, it would be great to have a few more with this qualification. This involves a one day course which we can arrange in the Parish hall if there is enough interest. Again, please let Father McGrorry know.

St Joseph's 60+ Club

The 60+ Club will meet tomorrow at 2.00pm in the Theresa Hall. Please enter by side door. All welcome.

Meditation Group

This will meet this Sunday in the Winning Room from 7.30pm - 8.30pm. Please enter by back kitchen door.

White Cockade

The White Cockade - the story of the Jacobites in words and music - has now been rearranged for Friday 19th March, 7.30pm for 8.00pm. This is a tremendous night of entertainment. Come along and join in the music. Tickets £5 from Theresa in the Sacristy.

Short Term Pledge
