St Joseph's Sunday Club
The dates of the Sunday Club Meetings for Primary 3 children preparing for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation are today, 7 March, 14 March and 21 March 2010, in the Parish Hall 9.00 - 9.50am.
Ecumenical Shared Reflection for Lent
As last year, Cairns Church and St Joseph's are working closely together providing the Lenten material from Action of Churches Together in Scotland. This will happen on four Wednesday nights beginning this coming Wednesday, 3rd March, here in St Joseph's (led by Rev Andrew Frater).
Fairtrade Fortnight - The Big Swap!
"Swap your usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff". What will you swap when you go shopping at the supermarket this week? Have you thought about swapping at least one of your Easter eggs this year - Fairtrade Easter eggs are available at the local Oxfam Shop and Balmore Coachhouse. This Sunday in the main hall is you chance to make your pledge. Also, on offer, FREE tastings - come along and try something new.

White Cockade
The White Cockade - the story of the Jacobites in words and music - on Friday 19th March, 7.30pm for 8.00pm. This is a tremendous night of entertainment. Come along and join in the music. Tickets £5 from Theresa in the Sacristy to be confirmed by 7th March.
Vive La France
A few parishioners have asked if it would be possible to have an opportunity in the Parish to have some French conversation so....on the first Sunday of the month after the 11.30am Mass, one of the tables in the Café will be reserved for those who would like to have a chat in French (and only French!).
Novena in Honour of St John Ogilvie

World Day of Prayer - Friday 5th March
The World Day of Prayer Scottish Committee and the Christian Women of Cameroon invite you to share in prayer and worship with people from all around the world. Speaker Rev Jim Marshall in Allander Evangelical Church at 10.30am.
Mother's Day Tea Party
Hosted by the children and staff of St Joseph's Nursery to be held in St Andrew's Church Hall, Stewart Street, on Saturday 6th March from 9.30am to 12 noon. Entry costs £2.50 for adults and 50p for children including a drink and biscuits. There will be a range of stalls to browse, Reiki, make and do stalls and face painting.
St Patrick's Day Festival, Coatbridge 2010

Glasgow Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage 2010
Anyone wishing to apply to go to Lourdes as a Pilgrim under the care of the Glasgow Lourdes Hospitalite, should write for an application to Mrs D Fitzsimmons, 28 Overwood Drive, Glasgow, G44 5SG. The Pilgrims stay in the Accueil Notre Dame (16 - 23 July) and the cost will be in the region of £660. Closing date is 19th March.
