St Joseph's Sunday Club
Sunday Club meetings for Primary 3 children preparing for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation are today, and 21 March 2010, in the Parish Hall 9.00 - 9.50am.
Baptism Preparation
The first meeting for the Baptism preparation group will be today at 3.00pm.
Traidcraft Stall
The Traidcraft stall will be available after all Masses this weekend. There is a lot of new stock so please come along and have a look. Remember to think about swapping at least one of your Easter eggs this year for a Fairtrade Easter egg - these are available at the local Oxfam Shop and Balmore Coachhouse.
Archdiocese of Glasgow Station Masses
The North West Deanery Station Mass will take place in St Margaret's, Clydebank on Monday 15th March at 7.00pm. Please see the noticeboard for further information.
Dignity of Life
This group will meet on Tuesday 16th March in the Theresa hall at 7.30pm. All are welcome. Please use side door.
Ecumenical Shared Reflection for Lent
As last year, Cairns Church and St Joseph's are working closely together providing the Lenten material from Action of Churches Together in Scotland. The third of four reflections takes place on Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Theresa hall, here in St Joseph's led by Rev Andrew Frater. Please use side door.
Feast of St Joseph
Our feast day for St Joseph is this coming Friday, so hopefully many of you will be able to come to 7.40am Mass or join with the school children at 9.30am Mass.
RCIA Group
The next meeting for the group will be next Sunday, 21st March, at 1.30pm.
Stations of the Cross
On Sunday 21st March at 6.00pm, St Joseph's Justice and Peace Group will hold an illustrated Stations of the Cross, praying for peace, harmony and justice in our world.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Please remember the boys and girls in your prayers who will celebrate First Confession on Tuesday 23rd March at 7.30pm here in St Joseph's.
Children's Liturgy
The Children's Liturgy group would like to hear from anyone who is interested in joining them to help out either now or at any point in the future. If you would like to find out more about what we do and the materials we work from then please contact either Jennifer Wilson (956 4358) or Caroline Godden (563 9188). There is a Disclosure process to go through before you can actually help and this can take some time but in the meantime if you are at all interested then please get in touch.

Palm Sunday Celebration for Young People
Every year on Palm Sunday, the Holy Father invites young people to gather with their bishop to celebrate World Youth Day and to enter in to Holy Week together. Everyone aged 16-35 is welcome at the Diocesan Youth Pastoral Centre at 4pm on Sunday 28th March, concluding with Mass with Archbishop Mario at 7pm. All welcome to the 7pm Mass. 5th Anniversary of the Election of Pope Benedict
The Papal Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Faustino Sainz Nunoz, will be in Glasgow to take part in a Mass to mark (in anticipation) the upcoming 5th Anniversary of the election of Pope Benedict XVI. The Mass will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Pro-Cathedral at 3.00pm on Sunday 21st March. All welcome.

Forty Hours Devotions at St Andrew's, Bearsden will now take place on Sunday 25th April.
Women at the Cross
On Monday 29th March at 7.00pm, in St Alphonsus, London Road - all Christian denominations welcome and a special invitation to those of no faith or denomination.
Glasgow Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage 2010
Anyone wishing to apply to go to Lourdes as a Pilgrim under the care of the Glasgow Lourdes Hospitalite, should write for an application to Mrs D Fitzsimmons, 28 Overwood Drive, Glasgow, G44 5SG. The Pilgrims stay in the Accueil Notre Dame (16 - 23 July) and the cost will be in the region of £660. Closing date is 19th March.

The Twentysomethings are running a café ‘Bringing the Bible Alive' program in Glasgow City Centre on several occasions throughout the year.
