Altar of Repose

If anyone would like to lend us a plant for the Altar of Repose, please leave it in the Theresa Hall (with your name on the pot!) by Wednesday 31st March. Thank you.

 

Parish Pastoral Council

The next PPC will meet on Monday 29th March at 7.30pm in the main hall. Please use main hall door.

St Joseph's 60+ Club

Please note there will be no 60+ Club on 29th March or 5th April. The Club will resume on Monday 12th April.

Meditation Group

There will be no meditation group meeting on 4th, 11th and 18th April.

 

Palm Sunday Celebration for Young People

The theme for this year's World Youth Day is "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" (Mk 10:17). Everyone aged 16 to 35 from across the archdiocese is invited to the Diocesan Youth Pastoral Centre at 4.00pm today for a celebration which will lead into Mass with Archbishop Mario at 7.00pm. Carfin - Tuesday 13th April

Celebration of Apparitions at Fatima. Bus leaves Douglas Street car park at 6.00pm. Cost £6 per person. Further information from John Munn on 563 7479.

St Joseph's Primary - 30th March

Our primary 7s have arranged a "Rich Man, Poor Man" meal to take place in the School on Tuesday 30th March, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets will be on sale from the main school office, price £5, or at the Church after all Masses this weekend. Excellent, healthy cuisine. Red and white wine will be served with Rich Man meals. This is an entirely non-profit making activity and all proceeds will go to Mitsidi Primary Furniture Fund.

Youth Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

The SSVP need young people who want to make a difference by turning concern and your Christian faith into action! There are lots of different things that you can get involved with, using your skills and talents. All you need to do is give a couple of hours a week. You will meet with a group of young people once a week or once a fortnight to plan for your activities.  Annual Ozanam Talk

....with speaker Fr Sean Farrell CM on the theme of the 350th Anniversary of St Vincent De Paul and St Louise Marillac. This will take place on Monday 12th April at the Ogilvie Centre, Garnethill at 7.30pm.

Annual Mass

....to pray for the Canonisation of Blessed Frederic Ozanam on Wednesday 28th April in St Mungo's Townhead at 7.30pm. All welcome.

 Women at the Cross

On Monday 29th March at 7.00pm, in St Alphonsus, London Road - all Christian denominations welcome and a special invitation to those of no faith or denomination.
