Church Refurbishment Project - Saturday Church Cleaning Volunteers

Due to the extensive roof overhaul during the Church Project, which starts next week, we expect some dust and possible plasterwork debris within the Church itself. As a result, we are planning a rota of Saturday morning volunteers from Sat. 14th May, to help clean & prepare the main Church for Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses - men and women welcome! Weekday Masses (Mondays to Fridays) will be held in the Theresa Hall during the works.

If you can help, please contact/telephone Frances Brown at 956 5217. (Regular cleaning team members - can you also please contact Frances.)

"LET THE CHILDREN LIVE" - Coffee Morning

St Joseph's Justice and Peace Group are holding a fund-raising coffee morning in the Church hall on Saturday 14th May in aid of this charity's support for the desperate plight of the street children of Colombia, living on dumps, treated as throwaways, killed at random. The charity is a last refuge for these children but is currently in dire financial straits, forced into drastic cutbacks in their vital work. Please help us to let the children live!

Tickets available after all Masses. Adults £3; children 50p. Donations of home baking and raffle prizes will be gratefully received. Contact Mary or Drew Williamson (956 4433) or any member of the Justice and Peace Group.

Please Remember

If you kindly give in a brown envelope for the building fund and you gift aid, please make sure the number you put on the envelope is this year's number i.e., the one on your GREEN envelope. If you still do not have your green envelopes, they are in the Sacristy.
