Parish Pastoral Council

A meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council will be held in the main Church hall on Monday 20^th February at 7.30pm. If any member is unable to attend, please contact the Secretary, Margaret Maxwell on 563 8333.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

A meeting will be held in the main hall on Monday 27^th February at 7.30pm for the parents of our Primary 3 children who are to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday 15^th March. Parents, please bring with you to the meeting a copy of your child's baptismal certificate.

"St. Joe's Prize Draw" - 2012 Subscriptions due (Existing & New members).

Members please note: We are now collecting annual subscriptions in the Theresa Hall after all weekend Masses during January. The first draw of the year will be on 29^th. January, after 11.30 Mass. New Members are now required and can sign up today! Annual subscription remains unchanged at £20 to cover 10 draws during 2012, and there are 4 prizes monthly totalling £200. Last year we paid out a total of £2050 prizes to 40 parishioners, and the church refurbishment fund profited by £2,100. Come and join in the fun and also contribute to the next stage of our Church's refurbishment.

Presentation to Fr McGrorry

Envelopes to allow donations for Father McGrorry's presentation will be available this weekend and can be returned at the second collection at all Masses over the next two weekends. A further meeting to discuss the details for Fr McGrorry's presentation will take place on Tuesday 31^st January at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in helping with this is welcome to come along. Please enter by main hall door.

Fernhill School 40^th Anniversary Charity Ball

Fernhill School are celebrating their 40^th Anniversary and would like to invite former pupils and staff to The Fernhill School 40^th Anniversary Ball in aid of CHAS, the Children's Hospice Association and the school's Charity Foundation. Registration for Pre and Anti-Pre-School Children

Registration forms and information leaflets are now available from East Dunbartonshire local authority schools, libraries, Tom Johnston House, The Triangle and Southbank House. Children born between 1^st March 2008 and 28 February 2009 or 1^st March 2009 and 28 February 2010 can be registered week beginning 16 January between 10am and 12 noon at any local authority primary school or send completed forms along with birth certificate, proof of residency and proof of legal guardianship (if appropriate) directly to Southbank House, Strathkelvin Place, Kirkintilloch by 24 February.
