St Joseph’s Milngavie 1856-2006: a brief outline history

In the 12th century, Milngavie was part of the old mediaeval parish of Kilpatrick.
Our “modern” Catholic community in Milngavie, however, finds its origins in the industrial changes and population shifts in this area in the mid nineteenth century.
