The Society Of St. Vincent De Paul was founded by Frederick
Ozanam in Paris in 1833 for the purpose of visiting personally any person
in need, regardless of what that need might be. The Society does not rate
one need greater than another, for the belief is that any need oppress
anyone who suffers.
It is now a world-wide organisation and the St. Joseph's Conference meets
every Sunday after the 11.30am Mass.
